Omcare Late Night Pharmacy may offer medicine delivery services to eligible patients or where agreed. Delivery availability depends on location, staffing, service eligibility and clinical suitability.
We aim to deliver within agreed timeframes, but delivery times are not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed. Delays may occur due to traffic, weather, stock availability, prescription issues or clinical checks.
The person receiving medicines may be asked to confirm their identity. Some medicines may require signature, safe handover or additional checks.
Certain medicines may require stricter delivery procedures, identity checks, secure handover or additional record keeping.
If we are unable to complete delivery, we may contact you to rearrange or ask you to collect from the pharmacy.
Delivery may be free or chargeable depending on the service. Any charge will be confirmed before delivery where applicable.
For safety reasons, medicines that have left the pharmacy cannot usually be returned for reuse or resale. This applies even if the medicine is unopened.
You may return unwanted medicines to the pharmacy for safe disposal. No refund will usually be given for medicines returned for disposal.
If you believe you have received the wrong item, damaged item or incorrect medicine, contact us immediately. Do not use the medicine until you have spoken to the pharmacy.
For non-medicinal retail items, refunds or exchanges may be offered in accordance with your statutory rights. Items must usually be unused, unopened and returned with proof of purchase.
Refunds for private services will depend on the nature of the service, whether the appointment has taken place, whether medicine has been supplied and any cancellation terms explained at booking.
Omcare Late Night Pharmacy may provide NHS services including, where commissioned and available:
NHS services are subject to eligibility criteria, NHS rules, clinical assessment and service availability.
A pharmacist may decide that a service, medicine or treatment is not appropriate and may refer you to your GP, NHS 111, urgent care or another healthcare professional.
Completing an online form, booking an appointment or visiting the pharmacy does not guarantee that treatment will be supplied.
You must provide accurate information about your symptoms, medicines, allergies, pregnancy status, medical conditions and other relevant details.
Where required, we may record details of NHS services provided and share relevant information with your GP practice or NHS organisations.
Where our website allows online requests, these are reviewed by the pharmacy team before any medicine or service is provided.
We may need to verify your identity, confirm your details or ask further clinical questions.
We may contact you by telephone, email, SMS or secure messaging to clarify information before providing a service.
We may refuse to provide a service or medicine if we believe it is unsafe, inappropriate, unlawful or not clinically suitable.
Some pharmacy services may not be suitable to provide at a distance. We may ask you to attend the pharmacy or seek face-to-face care.
